What You’ll Do
- Assembly and testing of high voltage equipment, including outdoor substations up to 132kV.
- Conduct inspections, ductor testing, and quality checks to meet compliance.
- Lead and mentor less experienced staff.
- Assist other members of the HV Installation team where possible and safe to do so.
- Represent Powersystems professionally and uphold our core principles: Priority No.1 – Health, Safety, and Wellbeing, Professionalism, Pride, Partnership, and Proactivity.
What We’re Looking For - Fitter
- 5+ Years’ experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
- Demonstrable experience with oxygen & propane brazing, and exothermic welding.
- Experience working on New Installation High Voltage Switchgear is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of BS7671 regulations is advantageous.
- Potential experience in mentoring less experienced staff.
- Full UK driving license & Right to Work in the UK.
