What You'll Do
- Manage complex High Voltage project enquiries from initial review to tender submission, negotiation, and contract award.
- Review specifications to identify technical and delivery requirements for projects up to 400kV.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for High Voltage electrical work, supporting Powersystems tender strategy.
- Attend site visits, pre and post tender, and pre-contract meetings.
- Work with the Procurement team to obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Work closely with teams across the business to ensure accurate and practical estimates.
- Champion Powersystems Priority No.1: Health, Safety, and wellbeing, professionalism and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Strong technical knowledge of 33kV, 132kV, and 400kV electrical infrastructure works.
- Proven experience in producing technical estimates and tender submissions in the electrical infrastructure sector up to 400kV.
- Degree, HNC, HND, or equivalent qualifications in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Proven ability to interpret requirements, specifications, and technical drawings, converting them into submissions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Adept at building strong ongoing working relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues, demonstrating clear and professional communication at all times.
- Full UK Driving License & Right to Work in the UK.
