What You’ll Do
- Assembly and testing of high voltage equipment, including outdoor substations up to 132kV
- Conduct inspections, ductor testing, and quality checks to meet compliance
- Lead and mentor less experienced staff
- Assist other members of the HV Installation team where possible and safe to do so
- Represent Powersystems professionally and uphold our core principles: Priority No.1 - Health, Safety, and Wellbeing, Professionalism, Pride, Partnership, and Proactivity
What We’re Looking For – Fitter
- 5+ Years’ experience as a Mechanical Fitter
- Demonstrable experience with oxygen & propane brazing, and exothermic welding
- Experience working on New Installation High Voltage Switchgear is advantageous
- Good knowledge of BS7671 regulations is advantageous
- Potential experience in mentoring less experienced staff
- Full UK driving license & Right to Work in the UK
