In this Cable Hand role, you will:
- Work alongside Site Supervisors, Electricians and Jointers to deliver electrical installation work on site
- Help install lighting and power systems, cable trays and ladders, cabling and switchgear
- Install LV and HV cables using cable rigs, trailers and winches
- Complete earthing works as needed
- Assist HV teams with major site installations, fault investigations and breakdown response
- Follow safe working practices, look after company equipment and represent Powersystems professionally
- Promote Powersystems' Priority No.1 commitment to Health, Safety and Wellbeing, alongside high standards and continual improvement
What You'll Bring
- A valid JIB-approved ECS card
- A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK
- Previous experience working on construction sites
- Experience with commercial and industrial electrical installations
- The ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team
- Electrical power sector experience would be advantageous
- Clear communication, good attention to detail and a proactive, adaptable attitude
