What You’ll Do
- Design HV Substations and Electrical Infrastructure up to 132kV
- Prepare design packages including cable schedules, schematics, ADMD calculations, and battery charger sizing
- Develop Single Line Diagrams and detailed protection and control design specifications
- Design HV cable systems using manufacturer data and analysis software
- Undertake preliminary design studies looking at load flow and fault levels
- Carry out earthing designs using Excel and CDEGs

What We’re Looking For
- Engineering Degree qualified or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- 3 years in HV/Electrical Design Positions
- Strong technical knowledge of power engineering
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information
- A postgraduate qualification in Power Systems is advantageous
- Full UK driving licence & Right to Work in the UK
- Chartered or working toward IEng/CEng (IET)
