What You’ll Do

  • Assembly and testing of high voltage equipment, including outdoor substations up to 132kV
  • Conduct inspections, ductor testing, and quality checks to meet compliance
  • Lead and mentor less experienced staff
  • Assist other members of the HV Installation team where possible and safe to do so
  • Represent Powersystems professionally and uphold our core principles: Priority No.1 – Health, Safety, and Wellbeing, Professionalism, Pride, Partnership, and Proactivity

What We’re Looking For - Fitter

  • 5+ Years’ experience as a Mechanical Fitter
  • Demonstrable experience with oxygen & propane brazing, and exothermic welding
  • Experience working on New Installation High Voltage Switchgear is advantageous
  • Good knowledge of BS7671 regulations is advantageous
  • Potential experience in mentoring less experienced staff
  • Full UK driving license & Right to Work in the UK
