The Focus Of The Role
Becoming our Sub Editor requires a natural instinct for maintaining interesting, varied content, as well as a meticulous commitment to accuracy. You will collaborate with the Heads of Production and Brand Editors to ensure content quality and timely delivery. The primary functions include checking and editing content and layout across various brands within the segment, supporting the creation of special editions, and liaising with relevant departments for approvals. This role offers a hybrid working model, combining remote work with attendance at our London office.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on all content areas.
- Correct inaccuracies and other issues on pages.
- Use creativity to enhance pages while maintaining appeal to readers.
- Write and subedit supporting copy.
- Ensure adherence to style guides.
- Deliver and subedit articles to a high standard and deadline.
- Make editorial changes using InDesign.
- Assist with final proofs and schedule adherence.
- Support other editorial tasks as needed.
What You’ll Bring
