We’re looking for energetic, committed and confident self-employed coaches to lead a range of children’s activities — including football parties, holiday camps and weekly sessions — while delivering an exceptional customer experience every time.
About Powerleague: Powerleague is the UK’s original and largest provider of small-sided football. Our state of the art pitches and venues are a community hub, a place where people come together to play, connect and grow. Within our Venue Operations, we also run over 350 football leagues to cater for all customers’ needs each week, through 5, 6 or 7 a-side games.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead fun, engaging and age-appropriate football sessions for children.
- Create a safe, inclusive and positive environment for all participants.
- Support with events such as birthday parties, holiday camps and community programmes.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to children, parents and visitors.
- Ensure all Health & Safety, safeguarding and venue standards are met at all times.
What You’ll Need:
- To work afternoons, evenings, weekends as well as during school holidays.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
- FA Level 1 or Level 2 qualification.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
- Have knowledge and understanding of child development and be sensitive to children’s needs.
- Ability to engage, motivate and support children of varying ages.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Basic First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain one).
