Powerleague continues to grow. As we expand our football and padel offerings across London, we’re recruiting Club / General Managers to lead at several of our established clubs. These opportunities have arisen due to internal progression, offering you the chance to step into a proven, thriving venue and make your mark.
About The Role
As Club Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the performance and success of your site. You’ll lead a team, drive revenue and profitability, and create an outstanding experience for every player and visitor. From day-to-day operations to shaping long-term growth, you’ll set the pace and the standard. You’ll be supported by your Regional Operations Manager, but the autonomy will be yours: to make decisions, spot opportunities, and bring ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate your team to deliver against KPIs for revenue, profit, utilisation, and customer satisfaction.
- Build strong local community links, partnerships, and brand awareness to maximise bookings and revenue.
- Oversee all club operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and smooth day-to-day running.
- Recruit, train, and develop your team, ensuring consistent standards and career progression.
- Monitor P&L, set budgets with your ROM, and identify opportunities for growth and efficiencies.
- Champion exceptional customer service – resolving issues with empathy, professionalism, and pace.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a General Manager, Club Manager, or similar leadership role in leisure, hospitality, retail, or sport.
- Strong people leadership – with the ability to inspire, engage, and develop teams.
- Commercially minded with a track record of growing sales and managing budgets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with customers and colleagues.
- Hands‑on, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
