The Role: Reporting to the Commercial Operations Associate Director. Your goal will be to provide outstanding service to our clients and work closely with colleagues internally. You will be a confident communicator both on the telephone and via any written communication. You will be required to work well under pressure to ensure all account openings and new enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner. You will have a keen eye for detail maintaining our CRM system and producing reports on a daily and weekly basis. This is an office-based role, primarily on the phone and email, so you will need to be confident, enthusiastic and willing to learn in order to develop yourself as an individual.
About the Role Key responsibilities of the role are:
- Responsible for issuing account forms, obtaining references and the account opening process before it is passed to our CFO and Credit Control Team
- Completing reports for the daily KPI dashboards
- Monitoring the Info and New Accounts inbox
- Assisting Customer Service and the Sales Team with any pricing exercises and updating our internal systems as necessary
- Liaising with Transport and Customer Services on a daily basis to ensure wasted journeys are dealt with in a timely manner
- Producing end of month reports for specific customers as and when required
- Maintaining the CRM and ensuring a new sites listing is issued to the relevant people on a weekly basis
- Setting clients up with access to our online portal
- Managing a WhatsApp group and passing on relevant information to various departments/ personnel within the business
- Completing Outstanding Tickets on a daily basis
- Answering any Sales calls and overflow lines
- Assisting with obtaining skip permits from the local councils
- Learn and complete the SMARTWaste setup
- Completing new supplier questionnaires as and when required
- Ad-Hoc duties as set by your Line Manager
Qualifications/Experience:
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Office skills
- Ideally have previous exposure to the Waste Management and Recycling industry
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment

- Be self-motivated with an analytical mind and a keen eye for detail
- Ambitious dynamic go-getter with a real can-do attitude
- Confident communicator, both verbal and written
- Good team player as you will be required to work with a range of personnel internally and externally
