Through intensive mentoring, practical support and trusted relationships, we'll help women overcome barriers, build confidence and access opportunities that support lasting positive change.
We're looking for an experienced, compassionate and motivated Senior Programme Manager to lead this life-changing programme, supporting both the women accessing the service and the team delivering it.
Power2 is an evidence-based charity that supports children, young people and young adults to overcome challenges, improve wellbeing and achieve positive outcomes. We do this through high-quality mentoring, coaching and support programmes that build confidence, resilience and self-belief. We work alongside people to help them identify their strengths, navigate challenges and achieve goals that matter to them.
As Senior Programme Manager, you'll lead the successful implementation and delivery of our Women's Diversion Programme across Greater Manchester. You'll oversee programme performance, manage strategic partnerships, support staff development and ensure women receive high-quality, trauma-responsive support that delivers meaningful outcomes.
You'll manage and support a team of Programme Leads, providing leadership, supervision and guidance to ensure safe, effective and impactful service delivery. You'll work closely with criminal justice agencies, prisons, custody suites, probation services, local authorities and voluntary sector partners to ensure women receive coordinated support and that the programme achieves its objectives.
You'll also take responsibility for programme monitoring, quality assurance and funder reporting, ensuring that data, outcomes and impact are captured effectively and that learning informs continuous improvement.
While this is primarily a management role, you'll remain connected to frontline delivery, supporting staff with complex cases, safeguarding matters and partnership working where required.
- Has significant experience managing services supporting vulnerable adults, young adults or individuals with complex needs.
- Has experience of mentoring, key working, case management or navigation services.
- Understands safeguarding, risk management and professional boundaries.
- Can analyse performance and outcome data and use it to drive improvement.
- Has strong report-writing and communication skills.
These qualities reflect the requirements of the role and person specification. You may have worked in criminal justice, probation, prisons, custody suites, housing, domestic abuse, substance misuse, mental health, youth justice, community support or other services supporting people facing complex challenges. Experience of contract management, service mobilisation, performance reporting and quality assurance would be beneficial.
We also welcome applications from people whose lived experience helps them understand the barriers and challenges faced by the women we support. You'll lead a service supporting women who may have experienced significant trauma and adversity, often while navigating complex circumstances.
Regular travel across Greater Manchester. Working closely with prisons, custody suites and community-based partners. Leading performance monitoring, quality assurance and reporting. Occasional evening and weekend work to meet service requirements.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo and secure an Enhanced DBS check and provide details of two referees.
