Finance Manager - ACCA / CIMA

Position: Finance Manager We are looking for a commercially savvy and experienced Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and play a critical role in shaping strategic business decisions. This is a high-impact position, responsible for overseeing financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and team leadership. You will serve as a trusted partner to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), delivering insights that drive financial performance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Prepare and deliver detailed monthly financial reporting packs to the Group office, providing key performance insights.
Manage cash flow forecasting, credit control, and working capital to maintain financial health and liquidity.
Provide financial analysis and strategic insight to support senior leadership in decision-making.
Drive the development and execution of budgets, forecasts, and risk/opportunity assessments.
Lead, coach, and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Oversee project accounting, including profitability analysis and financial governance of key initiatives.
Serve as a strategic finance partner, identifying opportunities for performance enhancement and cost efficiency.
Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, taxation, and audit requirements.
Champion internal control measures, process improvements, and financial systems enhancements.
Supervise the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Support financial modeling and scenario planning to inform long-term strategy and business planning.
Evaluate and prepare capital expenditure proposals using DCF, MIRR, and payback analysis frameworks.
Lead or support ad hoc financial projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:
~10+ year of relevant experience with fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a strong blend of technical expertise and commercial awareness.
~ Proven track record in a senior finance role with responsibility for financial planning, strategy, and operational leadership.
~ Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams.
~ Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
~ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of influencing non-financial decision-makers.
~ Proficient in ERP systems and comfortable working in data-rich environments.
