This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic procurement professional who enjoys building supplier partnerships, negotiating favorable agreements, and ensuring materials are available to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. You'll play a key role in optimizing purchasing strategies, managing vendor relationships, and contributing to operational efficiency across the organization.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies focused on cost, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Source raw materials, packaging, maintenance supplies, and production-related materials.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality or delivery issues.
- Manage purchase orders from placement through completion.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels while supporting production schedules.
- Analyze purchasing data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Reconcile supplier inventory and resolve discrepancies.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and R&D on new product launches and material changes.
- Create and maintain item master data, part numbers, and supplier records.
- Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and best practices.
What We're Looking For:
