Join Power NI’s Middle Office and Pricing team, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of energy pricing during a time of rapid transition. This team is at the heart of managing risk and identifying opportunities by analysing wholesale and retail energy markets. Our mission is to ensure customers receive the right products and competitive prices while navigating the challenges and opportunities of a fast-changing energy landscape.
As a Trading Analyst, you’ll bring a sharp, analytical mindset and a strong foundation in numerical / analytical disciplines. You’ll work closely with colleagues to interpret complex market data, develop pricing strategies, and support decision-making that balances commercial objectives with customer value.

What you’ll need:
- Degree in subject with numerical/analytical content; Mathematics, Finance, Science, Engineering etc.
- Excellent numeric and analytic skills gained through experience of working with complex modelling tools, managing large data sets, and analysing large volumes of data to identify anomalies and trends.
- Excellent IT skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel, in particular.
- Experience of working under pressure and managing time effectively, prioritising important tasks and delivering results.
- Experience of producing quality written & verbal communication tailored to a diverse audience with the right level of visualisation and detail.
