About the Role: The successful candidate will manage a commercial customer portfolio, developing and retaining their electricity business. The role is to help grow Power NI's market share in the market, selling Power NI's products and services to business customers directly and through other channels.
Responsibilities: Day-to-day, here's what your new role would look like:
- Negotiate energy supply contracts with customers, proactively driving sales, achieving monthly, quarterly and annual targets and KPIs.
- Focus on the retention of existing customer portfolio and driving acquisition.
- Develop external broker / direct relationships and assist the Marketing team with new propositions.
- Provide support to the wider account management team.
- Maintain up to date sales pipeline records on relevant platforms.
- Prepare periodic sales reports for evaluation and presentation using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ensure customers are successfully on-boarded and assist with managing payment processes.
- Ad hoc project work and attendance at networking events as required from time to time.
About you: Key Criteria What You'll Need:
- Experience in a sales role with a track record of delivering against customer retention targets.
- Direct customer service experience in a sales-related environment demonstrating effective customer relationship management, and contract negotiations.
- Experience of producing quotations and managing multiple leads selling a portfolio of products.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Full driving license with access to own car (insured for business use).
Desirable Criteria - These help decide between those who meet all the above key criteria:
- Knowledge of the Energy industry, in particular electricity retail.
- Business related degree or equivalent.
- Sustainability knowledge / energy related qualifications.
