Accounts Assistant
Location: Newforge Lane, Belfast. The entrance to Newforge Lane lies off the Malone Road and is well-served by bus Metro Service 8.
Contract: Fixed Term, Full Time 12 months
Working Hours: 37 hours - Monday to Friday
Hybrid Working: We currently operate a hybrid working policy with a mix of working from the office and home.

About the Role
Working as part of the Accounts Receivable team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of this function are completed accurately and within the timescales required. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving cash processing errors and supporting ongoing cash flow management activities.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with other departments to ensure prompt resolution of customer queries including those identified through exception reports.
- Performing analysis on key customer accounts.
- Investigating and reconciling funds placed in suspense accounts.
- Processing customer remittances daily to ensure payments are correctly allocated.
- Investigating customer queries/complaints.
- Completing daily cash books accurately and efficiently.
- Contributing to KPI reporting.
- Supporting cash flow monitoring and forecasting.

Key Criteria
- What You’ll Need: GCSE Maths and English (Grades A-C) or equivalent.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
