Working Arrangements: Hybrid working approach, combining working from home, field-based shop visits, a minimum of two days per week either in the office or completing field activity, occasional planned travel to Dublin, Leeds or London, and occasional evening or weekend phone support when required.

What you’ll do:

  • Build trusted, collaborative relationships with Retail District Operations Managers, shop teams and key stakeholders to mitigate risk, loss prevention and review of margin as well as to provide support.
  • Conduct investigations into all alleged acts of misconduct or non-compliance with regulatory standards whilst always maintaining appropriate ER practices.
  • Conduct shop-based Compliance & Loss Prevention audits during shop visits to identify failings and drive continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with the Police around investigating theft, robberies and criminal behaviour ensuring evidence packs are produced and submitted to the required standards.
  • Provide practical guidance and support to Operations Managers and shop teams on customer fraud, suspicious behaviour and prevention strategies.

How you’ll do it:

  • Experience or in-depth knowledge of the role of a retail loss prevention investigator, ideally across a multi-site customer facing operation.
  • Ability to collate, assess and present complex data in a way which identifies key trends and exceptions.
  • Strong decision-making and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers and external agencies.
