We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Accounts & Administration Officer to join our fast-growing renewable energy team specialising in Solar PV and Battery Storage. This is a full-time, office-based role providing essential support across accounting, project administration and internal operations. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of financial processes and supporting the delivery of MCS-compliant renewable energy installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial entries using Xero.
- Process supplier invoices, purchase orders, customer billing and expenses.
- Bank account reconciliation and cashflow support.
- Support payroll and monthly management reporting.
- Assist with job costing, project invoicing and cost tracking.
- Manage customer payment schedules and credit control.
- Maintain financial records in line with business and compliance requirements.
CRM, Project & MCS Administration
- Support solar PV and battery storage project administration.
- Handle customer documentation and project scheduling.
- Updating CRM with customer and job information.
- Track installation progress and certifications.
- Assist with MCS-related documentation and compliance.
- Maintain company files for warranty, certification and DNO documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
Office Administration
- Handling internal communication, phone calls and enquiries.
- General admin support including data entry, filing and document management.
- Maintaining business systems and supporting continuous improvement.
- Assisting with procurement and stock/admin support as required.
Skills & Experience Required
- At least 2 years experience working in an administrative finance role.
- Xero experience (essential).
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
Preferred (not essential)
- Experience in Solar PV, Battery Storage, MCS or electrical installation environments.
- Experience with MCS certification or technical admin.
