At Power Engineering Consultants we employ Commissioning, Design and Planning engineers and we currently have vacancies for Commissioning Engineers. We do a lot of field work as well as some design in our office. We are involved with protection relays at all voltage levels and for all applications and we commission generator control panels, mostly for turbines in the 5-50MW bracket. These panels have interesting excitation and automatic synchronising elements as well as protection relays and interfaces with DCS and other systems. Our commissioning work is worldwide and this can mean a camp in the desert, a bunk on an oil rig or a 5-star hotel!

Qualifications

  • First class M.Eng or equivalent with Power Systems Subjects
