The role involves searching for electrical and maintenance technicians/engineers. Ideal applicants will possess a wide range of skillsets, including commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, monitoring, and repair of heavy electrical equipment. Successful applicants will have strong electrical aptitudes and knowledge, hands-on skills, and be problem solvers who are flexible and attentive to customers' needs.
Responsibilities:
- Start-up and commissioning of solar inverters at customers' photovoltaic solar plants.
- Configure Power Electronics' (PE) inverters according to project requirements, including setting up communication protocols, grid settings, and operational parameters.
- Conduct testing of PE inverters to ensure proper functionality and performance, including voltage checks, frequency measurements, and power output testing under various operating conditions.
- Integrate PE inverters into the overall photovoltaic system, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Execute commissioning procedures for PE inverters, including system startup, calibration of sensors, verification of protection functions, and synchronization with the electrical grid.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to PE inverters and implement corrective actions to resolve problems.
- Prepare and submit accurate records of commissioning activities, including test results and commissioning reports.
- Provide training and technical support to installation teams, maintenance personnel, and end-users on inverter operation and maintenance requirements.
- Travel based on operations demands.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Intermediate and/or Advanced Degree in Electricity and Electronics and/or University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or similar.
- Professional Experience: 3+ years in similar environments.
