Operating from our new depot in East Grinstead, you will deliver fuel to Power Electrics’ fleet of generators on hire to its customers throughout the south east of England.
Key Responsibilities
- To deliver fuel to generators on customer sites utilising a wide range of Power Electrics’ vehicles, predominantly: –
- 18 Ton Twin axle Fuel Tanker (13,000 Ltr Capacity)
- 4×4 Vehicles (Typically Ford Rangers) towing 950 Ltr or 2000 Ltr Fuel Bowser occasionally when required.
- Completion of all relevant delivery documentation in accordance with Power Electrics operating procedures using a handheld tablet device.
- Loading and making deliveries in a safe and professional manner.
- Comply with all relevant Health and Safety regulations, tachograph regulations & ADR regulations regarding the transportation of fuel.
- Build effective relationships with internal colleagues across the business to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with the delivery and collection of generators & equipment when required of the company’s road tows using 4×4 vehicles and the moving of rapid response generators (fitted to Rigid wagons ranging from 7.5 Tons to 32 Tons GVW).
- Comply with relevant aspects of the company’s Health and Safety policy.
- Comply with all aspects of the company’s ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 management standards, proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme.
Skills & Experience Required
- Towing qualification and experience – Essential
- ADR Licence or Diesel Awareness Training (relevant training will be given if no ADR licence held)
