Job Summary

We are seeking a driven Sales Engineer to promote and sell protection relays and switchgear solutions to utilities clients. Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and procurement teams to deliver technically sound, cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with utility companies and system integrators to expand market presence.
  • Provide technical sales support by analyzing client needs and recommending protection switchgear and control system solutions.
  • Review tender specifications and prepare compliant, competitive technical-commercial proposals to secure contracts.
  • Conduct customer visits, deliver presentations, and perform product demonstrations to effectively communicate solution benefits.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and provide after-sales support to maintain customer satisfaction.

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Power Engineering.
  • Demonstrated technical sales experience in the utilities or power industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for assignments as required.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience working with brands such as ABB, Siemens, or Schneider.
  • Prior involvement with utility companies or power grid projects.
