Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Multiskilled Engineer to support a contract across Hampshire. The role will involve both planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and in line with contractual KPIs and SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance tasks
- Ensure all assigned jobs are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain and update the CAFM system (e.g. PlanOn) with accurate job data
- Operate a Permit to Work system in line with company and client procedures
- Provide engineering support in emergency situations to maintain operational continuity
- Support the Helpdesk with planned and reactive maintenance updates
- Participate in out-of-hours call-out support when required
Client & Customer Duties
- Respond promptly to verbal and written requests
- Coordinate and assist with quotations alongside the Contract Manager
- Produce supporting information for quotations
Compliance & Technical
- Obtain required Technical Appointments (e.g. LVCP / LVAP / Mechanical / Pressure CP)
- Produce condition and dilapidation reports as required
- Escalate any dangerous situations to the Supervisor immediately
SHEQ Responsibilities
- Comply with all health & safety policies and procedures
- Report accidents and near misses promptly
- Ensure PPE, tools, and test equipment are safe, calibrated, and fit for purpose
- Follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments at all times
