About the Role:
We are looking for reliable Cable Laying Operatives to join our team on upcoming LV - 33kV overhead line projects in Dundee and the surrounding areas. You will work under the supervision of the Ganger to safely install, maintain, and inspect underground cables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of cables according to project specifications.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely.
- Follow site safety procedures and comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Help prepare the site and materials for cable installation.
- Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cable laying, electrical, or construction work preferred.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
- NRSWA operative.
- CSCS card or relevant certification preferred.
