This position will work as part of a small but busy HR team and will assist with providing a full range of HR support to the business. The post holder will build and sustain relationships with people at all levels of the organisation to positively impact business performance, performing a wide range of generalist, operational and analytical activities including but not limited to employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, talent management, and management of compliance.
In partnership with the HR Manager, the HR Generalist is a key contributor to all initiatives that facilitate HR effectiveness and will be responsible for developing and deploying HR best practices within the business.
Essential Experience and Qualifications- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of UK employment law and ACAS Code of Practice.
- Experience in understanding and translating the priorities of the business and integrating the HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends and recommend solutions to improve employee engagement, performance and retention.
- Positive, “can-do”, professional approach; ability to work effectively at all levels within the organisation, often involving difficult or conflict situations.
- CIPD Qualification to at Least Level 3
