The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
Have the ability to layout equipment and produce basic wiring, working to company process standards and operating procedures in one of either Bench Assembly, LV or MV switchgear. Reporting to the Team Leader, key responsibilities include:
- Can read electrical schematic drawings, G/A’s, CDR’s, D&P drawings and identify components.
- Proficient in using all hand tools.
- Can layout and wire all standard DOL chassis or LV, MV panels with minimal guidance.
- Create Screen and Ethernet Cable.
- Ability to problem solve on all new tasks.
- Can suggest solutions to issues and work with others to resolve.
- Have the ability to organise and prioritise work effectively.
- Have the ability to practice good housekeeping at all times and organise the work area effectively.
- Produce basic wiring in a uniformed manner and work to clear instructions and standards.
- Capable of highlighting potential issues and suggesting rational corrective/preventative actions.
- Capable and willing to transfer skills and knowledge to colleagues when requested.
- Responsible for achieving required output including productivity, quality and agreed targets.
Competence Profile: The ability to effectively communicate using both verbal and written communication that delivers high levels of confidence in those dealt with. A strong technical background and previous experience of panel wiring is a must. The ability to meet the expectation of both internal and external customers, clients and suppliers through a sound understanding of their requirements, being responsive to their needs and exceeding their requirements.
Qualification: HNC/HND in Electrical would be advantageous.
