Company Description Powderloop Technology Ltd. specialises in the manufacturing and supply of hardmetal powders for additive manufacturing (AM), laser cladding, and thermal spraying industries. We are committed to delivering sustainable, cost-effective, and high-performance hardmetal powders with reduced turnaround times. Based in Braintree, we offer a wide range of hardmetal powders, including tungsten carbide, chromium carbide, and customised powders for thermal spraying, additive manufacturing, and laser cladding processes. Role Description · Design and develop metal or metal-ceramic powders. · Support and improve powder manufacturing processes. · Deliver project outcomes in line with agreed schedules and resource allocation. · Manage and prioritise work plans to align with business targets and changing needs of the business. · Work closely with the technical team to design new experiments and test systems · Develop detailed work instructions for manufacturing and testing processes. · Ensure all development works are fully documented. · Maintain a safe, clean, and organised approach in all work environments. · Any other reasonable duties, commensurate with position, to meet business needs. Requirements: · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field. · Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and analytically. · Experience in powder metallurgy, including handling metal or metal-ceramic powders. · Excellent cross-functional communication skills. · Prior experience in powder metallurgy, thermal spraying, or metal additive manufacturing is highly desirable.
