The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
To provide general secretarial support to the Practice Manager, Doctors and Health Professionals involving word processing and audio typing skills with general clerical work. To send and manage patient referrals using the appropriate IT systems in use at any time which is currently Choose and Book. To produce invoices and provide letters for and to patients, to assist with sending insurance reports and deal with requests and to be able to work 5 days a week for colleagues' absences as this role is a job share position.
Main duties of the job:
- Secretarial services which include some audio typing, patient referrals both urgent and non-urgent.
- Dealing with patient queries.
- Providing minutes of meetings as requested.
- To assist with insurance report and correspondence.
- Invoicing appropriately as required.
- Must be able to cover colleagues' absences.
Experience:
- Secretarial experience of a minimum of 3 years essential.
- Must be able to cover colleague's absences who works Tues, Weds and Thursdays - do not apply if unable to provide cover.
- Experience with Clinical System Emis.
- Medical Secretarial experience in General Practice.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must have at least English and Maths GCSE qualification to a minimum of 4 or above.
- Must be able to type at a minimum of 30 words a minute and evidence of this ability will be required and applicants will be required to undertake a typing test.

£14 an hour increased to £14.53 after completed probationary.
