Role description:As a Junior Consultant in our Business Advisory team, you’ll deliver key project tasks and support the development and delivery of high quality outputs becoming a key team member of our team that supports and contributes to the team environment, outcome focused approach and ways of working with a big client focus. There is an expectation to add value in all client delivery activities and be seen as a key team member within a client’s or project’s integrated team to support the development of insights and solutions, innovate our service offering through new ideas within the team, clients and within Arcadis.
Role accountabilities:- Plan and carry out assigned project work under the guidance of senior colleagues to deliver agreed project outputs.
- Own individual workstream tasks.
- Build strong relationships with project team members and client team members through valuable contribution and insight.
- Perform research and analyses of data and other information to uncover insights that will inform project and client outputs.
- Contribute to the development and presentation of reports and client presentations.
- Contribute to project and non-project initiatives that impact the business and/or client.
- Support all team members effectively.
- Business experience, ideally in a consulting environment.
- Some experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Demonstrates interest and some knowledge in new technology adoption, digital transformation, innovation and/or research and development.
- Some knowledge and experience of Business Advisory capabilities; Supply Chain & Procurement, Asset Strategy, Investment Advisory, Capital Programmes, Sustainability Advisory, People & Change and Digital.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency with desktop applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
