As a Graduate Economic Advisory Consultant in our Local Government Economic Advisory team, you will support our clients by helping them make their placemaking ambitions a reality. We do this by developing place-based economic strategies, programme-level delivery plans, business cases, investment propositions and other services to shape our clients’ decision-making and unlock investments. You will play a key role in designing and using our place analytics tools and economic impact assessment tools as well as making use of a wide range of data sources to undertake research and analysis to produce high-quality reports. You will work with colleagues across a broad range of disciplines, to bring valuable insight to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join and shape a growing Economic Advisory service within a market-leading Local Government consultancy team and help to deliver transformational regeneration projects for clients across the UK.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Accepted Degrees: BSc and MSc in a Social Science, Economics, Data or Business degree background or similar.
- You will be graduating in 2027 or have recently graduated in 2025 or 2026, with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree.
- You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player.
- You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
- Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working).
