Typical work will include gigafactories and battery/cell plants, hydrogen facilities, composite and aerostructure manufacturing, EV programmes and life‑science production sites. You will help shape and deliver a three‑year growth plan to support a UK‑wide target of £5m, act as a trusted adviser to OEMs, Tier‑1s and innovators, and raise the profile of our capabilities through client engagement and market insight.
Role Accountabilities
- Develop and deliver targeted growth plans for aerospace and green‑energy manufacturing, securing priority clients and projects.
- Lead capture and account strategies for complex pursuits, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to win and close work.
- Combine sales and delivery responsibilities: support project delivery to meet contract, compliance, safety and commercial objectives.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of high‑value opportunities across aerospace, EV/battery, life sciences and green energy.
- Drive cross‑selling of digital, design, PMO, cost management and sustainability services to increase client value.
- Represent the business at industry events and forums; produce market insight, thought leadership and tailored go‑to‑market materials.
- Ensure activity aligns with business metrics including Net Order Intake, revenue delivery, client experience and employee experience.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven senior experience in roles that combine growth and delivery (sales, delivery lead or consulting) within aerospace, EV/battery, life sciences, advanced materials or energy transition sectors.
- Strong, well‑established network across OEMs (including familiarity with Boeing/Airbus and commercial aviation), Tier‑1 suppliers and clean‑energy innovators.
- Track record of winning and leading complex pursuits (£5m+) and delivering multidisciplinary programmes in highly regulated industrial environments.
- Practical understanding of advanced manufacturing processes (battery/cell production, hydrogen systems, composite manufacture) and the sustainability drivers behind them.
- Commercially minded, entrepreneurial and skilled at leading, influencing and motivating cross‑functional teams.
