Role Accountabilities:
- The role will require successful candidates to lead interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables on behalf of engineering discipline.
- Undertake verification checking of elements at high complexity.
- Manage production of quality assured analysis and design; and coordination and integration of survey requirements onsite.
- Develop and manage the performance of team members and sub-contractors, identifying and ensuring the resolution of any issues.
- Support our Project Directors and Managers in the commercial management of our projects to ensure a successful result.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Chartership with either the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
- CRE experience is preferable, but mentoring will be provided if currently working towards this.
- Relevant design experience, preferably within a Rail environment.
- Experience preparing design deliverables using analysis and design software packages as well as using manual calculation methods.
- Experience of providing technical management and advice to project team members.
- Experience of applying sound engineering judgement in the development of projects.
- Have a sound knowledge and experience of the management of design risks.
