You could be part of establishing a major programme, offering you the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a national infrastructure project. While this is a fast-paced and exciting challenge, you should be comfortable with uncertainty, ambiguity, and change.
Role accountabilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing project plans, including defining scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management strategies, while supporting budget management and using forecasting techniques under guidance from senior leadership.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation to ensure transparency and compliance with governance requirements, supporting audits and reviews as directed.
- Assist in identifying and assessing risks, contributing to the development of contingency plans to address resource constraints and ensure project progress under supervision.
- Coordinate quality control measures by assisting with audits and supporting adherence to engineering standards, nuclear industry regulations, and safety protocols.
- Prepare and deliver project reports using digital tools (e.g., Power BI or Excel) to provide stakeholders with visibility into project status, budget health, and risks, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to support contract execution, license approvals, and compliance efforts, escalating significant issues to senior management.
- Assist in negotiating and administering project agreements with external parties, such as local authorities and developers, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Contribute to resource planning by identifying current and future needs, coordinating recruitment or reallocation efforts with senior leadership.
- Promote collaboration within multidisciplinary teams by supporting alignment on project goals, facilitating team discussions, and assisting with cross-functional problem-solving.
- Uphold organizational values by demonstrating integrity, transparency, and ethical behaviour in all project-related activities, while adhering to company policies and standards.
- Commit to professional growth by participating in training programs, staying up to date on project management methodologies, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Professional Project management qualification e.g. APM PMQ or PMI equivalent.
- Chartered Member (or working towards) or Full Membership of a relevant professional body (i.e. APM ChPP or APM MAPM).

- Basic understanding of nuclear industry regulations and safety requirements, with the ability to apply this knowledge to project management tasks under guidance.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and mitigating risks in complex systems.
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative and supportive environment, while helping develop team members' skills and capabilities by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- A flexible mindset, with the capability to embrace change and uncertainty, and adapt to the emergent aspects of the job.

- Demonstrated ability to lead by example within the project team, exhibiting integrity, professionalism, and ethical behaviour.
- Experience working within a startup or similar innovative environment is desirable, showcasing adaptability and comfort with uncertainty.
