About the opportunity…

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Team Manager (NIGHTS) to manage and lead the team to deliver against KPIs, plan to prepare for volume fluctuations and seasonal operational peaks.

Based in our Distribution Centre (DC) in Wigan, the Warehouse Team Manager will be reporting directly into the Warehouse Shift Manager and will be an important part of the DC Management Team, making commercially sound decisions so the department remains within budget.

Shift Pattern: 19:00-07:00

Week 1 – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

What you\’ll be doing…

The Warehouse Team Manager will play a pivotal part in ensuring compliance is to Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the team and colleagues are working in a safe, secure, clean, and friendly environment.

The role will be fast paced and will cover all areas of HR including recruitment, training, and developing the team as well as managing performance and ensuring KPIs are being achieved.

You will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the day to day operation and management of warehouse colleagues
  • Assisting the Shift Manager with daily and weekly workload planning and volume forecasting
  • Producing accurate and timely reports to monitor performance
  • Working to timescales and KPIs

What you\’ll need…

You will have previous experience as a Warehouse Team Manager with previous experience working in a distribution centre.

You will be a great leader with a sound knowledge of H&S standards in a warehouse environment and be accustomed to working towards and achieving KPIs
