We are currently recruiting for a Data Admin Assistant based in our Commercial Data Administration team. The role will be based from our Walsall Customer Support Centre and will work on a hybrid basis.
The Data Admin Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of product master data within Poundland’s ERP system. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role where precision and efficiency are essential to supporting our business operations across the UK and ROI.

Your Impact and Responsibilities…
The Data Admin Assistant will:
- Work closely with multiple business functions to verify product information, manage data updates, and maintain compliance standards.
- Verify and validate product data to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with business standards prior to system entry.
- Create and maintain product records, using uploaders to set up new items in bulk and manage updates efficiently.
- Update and track supplier cost prices, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date tracker document.
- Action product substitutions in line with agreed business rules to maintain supply chain continuity.
- Process new supplier setups, checking all documentation is complete and compliant.
- Manage stores helpdesk queries, resolving barcode scanning and pricing queries promptly.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies through Oracle Invoice Matching.
- Handle supplier debit note queries, escalating to relevant teams for correction and resolution.
Skills and Knowledge…
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced data administration role.
- Previous experience of using an ERP or similar system. Oracle experience is highly desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- The ability to manage high-volume workloads under pressure.
- Excellent organisational skills combined with a proactive and adaptable approach.
- Proficient experience of Excel.
