We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team based in our Customer Support Centre in Walsall. As Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely processing of invoices, that queries and issues are resolved and that statements of reconsolidation are completed accurately. This role is a fixed term contract for 12 months. After a probationary period, the role offers flexibility to work from home one day per week.
Your Impact And Responsibilities:
- Reconciling invoices to booking in sheets, liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve price discrepancies.
- Resolving supplier queries and invoices.
- Issuing debit notes where required and following them through to resolution.
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Ensure that any correspondence relating to overdue accounts is actioned and resolved.
Skills And Knowledge Required:
- Previous experience in an accounts payable role from within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of using a finance system. A working knowledge of Oracle is highly desirable.
- A detailed understanding of Accounts Payable processes and controls.
- Strong experience of Excel.
