About The Role
Join us here at Poundland & Dealz as a Compliance Manager and you'll play a key role in ensuring our transport operation remains safe, efficient and fully compliant with all relevant legislation and company standards.
You will work closely with transport colleagues, external partners and key stakeholders to oversee compliance activities across our fleet operation, ensuring we meet operator licence requirements, tachograph regulations, working time legislation and internal policies.
From managing audits and compliance reporting to handling insurance claims and supporting operational improvements, you will be at the heart of maintaining high standards across the transport function.
Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance activities across the fleet operation to ensure compliance with operator licence, tachograph, working time legislation and internal policies.
- Manage audits, compliance reporting and insurance claims.
- Support operational improvements and identify opportunities to strengthen controls and improve efficiency.
- Provide expert guidance on legislation and best practice to the wider transport team.
- Ensure compliance activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Build effective working relationships across the business while managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of UK transport legislation, tachograph regulations and transport operations.
- Previous experience within a transport compliance environment.
- Excellent organisational, communication and workload planning skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities, analysing data and producing reports.
- A CPC qualification would be advantageous.
