The Role: We are looking for a highly organised, detail-driven Assistant Product Developer to join our Product Development & Design team. This is a hands-on role at the heart of the product lifecycle from initial sampling and supplier liaison through to final delivery working closely with design, creative, and operations across every collection drop. You will report directly to the Head of Product Development & Operations and play a critical supporting role in keeping critical paths on track, samples moving efficiently, and product data accurate across all systems.
What You'll Do:
- Support the end-to-end product development process. Create technical specifications for all developments.
- Follow up on sign-off meetings, take notes, and update technical specifications on each round of sampling.
- Assist in maintaining and organising the sample archive.
- Coordinate samples from supplier delivery through to internal distribution and sign-off.
- Liaising with the creative team on photographing samples and with external partners.
- Build and maintain an internal library of all products, pricing, and specifications.
- Liaise with our suppliers on development timing and technical specification.
- Assist in keeping the critical path on track, flagging risks proactively.
- Ensure manufacturers deliver samples on time with weekly communication.
- Action weekly checks of the website and ensure all information is correct.
- Support collection coding on internal systems and organise internal filing.
- Assist in the preparation of seasonal selling books and technical presentations.
You're A Fit If You:
- Experience in product development or buying ideally within accessories or jewellery.
- Understanding of the jewellery or premium accessories sector.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
- Confident working with Excel and comfortable across systems or similar product management systems.
- Strong communicator, clear, proactive, and reliable in written and verbal correspondence.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset with a can-do attitude and strong team ethic.
- Discrete, confidential, and professional at all times.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Degree-level educated or equivalent experience.
