Job Description
We\’re excited to invite passionate and dedicated individuals to apply for Restaurant Team Member positions at Potters Resorts Five Lakes. Nestled in the heart of nature, our resort is the perfect place to bring joy to our guests while working in a vibrant, team-oriented environment.
We\’re looking for friendly, energetic, and hardworking individuals to join our restaurant team and help us deliver exceptional dining experiences. Whether you\’re new to hospitality or have years of experience, we welcome applicants with a positive attitude and a love for great service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Providing excellent service to guests, greeting them warmly, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This includes taking orders and answering questions about the menu.
- Food and Beverage Service: Serving food and drinks to customers in a timely and efficient manner. This could involve delivering orders to tables, refilling drinks, and ensuring that the dining area remains clean and organized.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping dining areas, tables, and utensils clean and sanitized. Team members will also be responsible for clearing plates, resetting tables, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
- Team Collaboration: Working effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations. This includes communication with our kitchen team to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and promptly.
- Health and Safety: Adhering to health and safety regulations, including food handling, cleanliness standards, and safety protocols to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests.
Hours:
This is a full time position, working 40hours per week – 5 days out of 7 to include weekends and bank holidays
You will work split shifts each day (3 shifts per day, details below)
- Breakfast 07.45 – 11.30
- Lunch 12.15 – 15.00
- Dinner 18.15 – 22.00
Rates of pay:
- £12.21 per hour – (Over 21 years)
- £10.00 per hour – (18 – 20 years)

- Previous waiting experience is great, but not essential – we can train you!
- The ability to work well under pressure and keep things running smoothly.
- Flexibility to work weekends, and bank holidays.
- A team player who\’s keen to pitch in and help whenever needed.
Although no formal qualifications are required for this role, we are seeking candidates who have outstanding customer service experience and the ability to exceed guest expectations.
