About the Kitchen Porter role

  • Ensure that cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils are kept clean and hygienic at all times.
  • Work efficiently and stay within time frames in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Sweep and mop all kitchen areas during and after the shift to maintain high hygiene levels.
  • Use bins for correct waste disposal, support recycling, and promote good waste management.
  • Work safely by following HACCP and Food Hygiene regulations.
  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation as required, including peeling and chopping vegetables.
  • Take personal pride in working as a team to ensure that guests receive spotlessly clean crockery and cutlery.
  • Use attention to detail to keep all kitchen equipment hygienic and meet exceptional standards.
  • Attend all relevant training sessions to work at the best of your ability.
