Afternoon Tea Waiting Team Member

Colchester Road, Tolleshunt Knights, Maldon, Essex, United Kingdom

Part Time - Weekends only working 11am - 4pm Saturdays and Sundays

Reporting to our Restaurant Manager, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to support with the delivery of our afternoon tea offering to our Spa Guests.

Key Duties will include:

  • Ensuring our Vista Suite is clean and tidy at all times and ready to welcome our Spa Afternoon tea guests
  • Cleaning and sanitising equipment
  • Preparing the suite for the day, ensuring the tables are set and all food has been collected from our team of Chefs
  • Preparing and delivering a selection of hot and cold drinks, along with alcoholic beverages
  • Operating tills, handling cash and supporting with stock movement to ensure consumables are used and maintained correctly
  • Maintaining an adequate supply of crockery, glassware and cutlery ensuring this is clean, in good condition and ready for use
  • Completing the necessary opening, closing and cleaning routines within the afternoon tea suite
  • Complying with all relevant health and safety policies, ensuring the proper use of chemicals equipment and PPE
  • Making regular checks of the outdoor seating area ensuring this area is clean and tidy
  • Managing all guest dietary requirements and communicating these with the Chef team

Pay: £10.85 - £12.71 (depending upon age)

Qualifications

Although no specific qualifications are required, the successful candidate will:

  • Have the ability to deliver a friendly and attentive customer service to our guests
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be organised and efficient
