Nestled in the heart of beautiful Essex, Potters Resorts Five Lakes offers the perfect mix of relaxation, entertainment, and adventure for our guests. Whether our guests are sipping refreshing cocktails or making memories with friends and family, every day at Potters is like a mini break and we are hiring exceptional talent to ensure our guests have the best time possible.
As a Bars Team Member, you'll be the friendly face our guests turn to when they need a refreshing drink or a smile! You’ll work in one of our bars, ensuring our guests have the best experience possible with every sip. You’ll be responsible for mixing up delicious cocktails, pouring pints of cold beer, keeping the atmosphere upbeat, and delivering great service!
You’ll also:
- Provide amazing customer service to all of our guests
- Serve our wide range of all-inclusive and premium drinks including tea, coffee, milkshakes, cocktails, and a range of alcoholic drinks
- Possess strong attention to detail – being able to spot when tables and glasses need clearing
- Attend training sessions, to ensure you have relevant knowledge of alcohol laws and procedures
- Keep the bar area clean, organised, and fully stocked
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
- Be passionate about ensuring every guest leaves with a smile
Hours: Working between 2 - 4 shifts per week. You will work 8 hour shifts between the hours of 9am - 3am to include weekends and bank holidays.
Pay: Between £10.85 - £12.71 depending on your age.
Due to our location, it is essential that you have a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle as you will be unable to reach us via public transport.
Qualifications:
- Passion for People: You’ll be interacting with guests all day, so a friendly attitude and great communication skills are key.
- Team Player: We work together to create an amazing experience, so we need you to be a team player who’s ready to dive in and help out.
- Experience (Preferred): While experience in a bar or hospitality setting is a plus, it’s not essential. If you’re eager to learn, we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
- Flexibility: Our bar is open from 9am – 2am. You will work 8 hour shifts between these hours so we’re looking for people who can work a mixture of shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
