Responsibilities:

  • The ability to operate a show as directed by the show director/Technical Manager.
  • Operating MA 3 lighting consoles.
  • Knowledge of digital audio (DiGiCo / Allen & Heath audio console experience advantageous).
  • Knowledge of QLab/Timecode operation.
  • Operation of Hippo Media Server.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to make quick thought-through decisions.
  • Being part of the Technical Team running Potters Theatre Company Evening Shows.
  • Setting up equipment in different areas/locations on Resort for various events.
  • Providing technical assistance on Resort during functions both day and night.
  • Assisting in loading equipment to and from the theatre.
  • Covering backstage/stage crew tracks new skills in lighting, sound, vision, and stage.

Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (including weekends and bank holidays). There may be the need to be flexible with hours depending on the needs of the business. Part-time and flexible options with hours may also be available.

Qualifications:

  • Experience of operating lighting, sound, and video equipment.
  • Organised, efficient, and proactive.
  • Good understanding of working safely within a Theatre/stage environment.
  • Basic bench work skills including soldering (beneficial but not essential).
