We have a fantastic vacancy available right now in our Group Sales Team for a team player with brilliant interpersonal skills, bundles of energy, endless enthusiasm, and the ability to go the extra mile every day. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised individual with a passion for creating sales and delivering excellent customer service to join our Group Sales Team. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively to maximise productivity.

Group Sales handles reservations for a wide range of Clubs and Associations. This varied sales role involves providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with Group Organisers to secure their reservations, and efficiently managing administration and paperwork. Creating new group business is a key part of this exciting role, and a proven track record in sales is advantageous.

The successful applicant will be hands-on, highly organised, and comfortable managing multiple tasks at pace, ensuring the smooth running of group reservations from initial sale through to the group’s arrival on Resort.

What does the role involve?

  • Making group reservations using a computerised reservation system in a fast-paced environment
  • Answering group telephone calls, handling enquiries, booking amendments and updates
  • Managing administration and paperwork for Group Leaders, using task lists to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Building strong rapport and long-term relationships with Group Organisers
  • Welcoming groups on arrival at Resort and ensuring a smooth handover
  • Creating and developing sales leads to secure new business
  • Attending external exhibitions and travel shows to promote and grow Group Sales
  • Assisting with direct sales calls during peak demand

Hours of Work

Part Time, working 32 hours per week over 4/5 days, including a weekend day on a rota basis. Shift Patterns will vary between 9am – 6pm. You also get to blend office and home working seamlessly after full training.

Qualifications

We are looking for people who are passionate about selling and, ideally, have previous sales experience. Being highly organised and able to adapt priorities on the go will be essential to succeed in this fast-paced role.
