We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-focused Greenkeeper to join our busy Greenkeeping Team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day upkeep and presentation of our Championship Golf Course, helping to maintain it to the highest possible standard throughout the year. You will need a positive, can-do attitude and be happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions. No two days are the same, and your work will play a vital part in ensuring an outstanding golfing experience.
Responsibilities:
- Mowing greens, fairways and surrounding areas
- Irrigating and fertilising turf
- Strimming and general course maintenance
- Raking and maintaining bunkers
- Aerating turf and assisting with renovations of greens and tees
- Supporting course improvement projects such as new pathways and bunker renovations
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, and will include weekend and bank holidays.
Qualifications:
- Previous Greenkeeping experience in a similar role (advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided)
- Adaptable and willing to turn your hand to a wide range of tasks
- A keen eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Ability to use relevant machinery, including ride-on mowers
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
