We have an exciting vacancy for someone to join our sales team at our Buxton store with opportunity to progress and a focus within our menswear department on a permanent basis. We are looking for an individual who can deliver exceptional customer service and who has a passion for clothing and footwear. The ideal candidate is a team player who is friendly, talkative and not afraid to lead, with the ability to converse and chat to our customers, assisting them with selections and suggestions.

Our in-store team also play a vital role in managing stock and processing deliveries; it is for this reason that methodical working and digital skills are essential. Full store training and product training is provided.

The Potters business continues to grow and additional opportunities within the business may become available so if you have any relevant hobbies or skills we would love to hear about them in your application.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and engage with customers to assist with selections and suggestions.
  • Assist in the menswear department and participate in stock management and processing deliveries.
  • Maintain methodical working practices and utilise digital skills as part of daily store operations.
  • Learn and apply store training and product training provided by the business.

Essential Skills / Qualifications

  • Excellent and efficient customer service focus; able to listen, be dependable and self-sufficient.
  • Friendly, talkative, and capable of leading when appropriate; strong team player.

  • Minimum 19 hours per week (Flexible + Extra hours available for holiday relief)
