Role Description: We are seeking a skilled Process Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing goods using mixing vessels, following detailed work orders and batch sheets. You will set up and operate equipment in line with best manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures, all while striving to improve overall productivity and ensuring strict adherence to quality standards.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Fill out necessary paperwork and batch records to a high standard of accuracy.
- Ensure output targets are met, and stock levels are monitored and corrected as required.
- Ensure mixing equipment and product quality are maintained within Standard Operating Procedures and customers’ expectations.
- Strictly follow detailed mixing instructions to monitor equipment, temperature and take samples for testing at required times.
- Follow departmental and role specific SOP’s and SSOW’s.
- Use FLT or Stacker Truck to load vessels with prepared jobs (kits).
- Follow sanitising guidelines for cleaning and keeping the working environment clean by adopting Clean as You Go principles.
- Ensure EH&S, COSHH processes and procedures are always adhered to.
- Follow all GMP requirements.
- Ensure that any problems that may affect safety or quality are reported in timely manner.
- Promote good interpersonal relationships with other team members, management, and other departments to work effectively to ensure delivery of production targets and customer requirements.
- For dispensing of materials bar code scanners to be used on all weighed out materials.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience within cosmetics or pharmaceuticals would be beneficial.
- Forklift License, Stacker Truck License.
- Relevant blending or compounding experience, cosmetic or personal care setting preferred.
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
