The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Brand Manager to lead the ongoing development and execution of our brand strategy. In this role, you will play a critical part in defining and enhancing our brand\βs market position, ensuring its success in a competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Performance:
- Monitor performance of brands/products and the active management of ranging in terms of high and low performers.
NPD Management:
- Maintain and develop a pipeline of ideas for brand development to improve in market competitiveness.
- Be a key driver of NPD internally through the business. This involves co-ordinating multi-functions and activities, including close liaison with buyers, packaging technologist, R&D, suppliers and the customer.
Sales and Commercial Management:
- Present brands to key customers (UK and globally).
- Manage brand and marketing activities direct with key customers.
- Ensure all new and ongoing product and live lines meet company margin criteria.
Sales Support:
- Provide back-up and point of contact for internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Ensure business matters are dealt with appropriately and where action is needed, forward to appropriate person.
Trend and Innovation Monitoring:
- Work closely with the Creative and R&D teams on product concept generation.
- Work in conjunction with UK and Export sales teams on brand opportunities.
- Product Costings.
- New Product Development involvement (working with product management / NPD team).
- Product Lifecycle Management.
- Sample / mock-up generation for PR, Pre-Production Samples & Customer presentations.
- Competitor Shopping Analysis and Reporting.
- Management of events, PR agencies and advertising opportunities (where applicable).

Qualifications:
- Degree (2:1 or equivalent) or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years brand experience. Must be able to demonstrate experience across all elements of branding β strategic planning, performance monitoring, NPD and the ability to work in a commercial environment influencing management in other functions (sales and product development).
- FMCG experience, ideally in the health and beauty sector, is desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Word.
- Full driving license is essential.
