Role Description
We're looking for a highly organised, enthusiastic and beauty-obsessed Business Development Executive to support the Business Development Manager in the development and growth of our retail and international customer accounts.
This is an exciting role for someone who lives and breathes beauty, skincare, haircare, fragrance and wellness products and is constantly discovering the latest trends on Tik Tok, Instagram and within the wider beauty industry.
You will play a key role in supporting new product development projects, identifying emerging trends, coordinating customer requests, preparing presentations and helping to bring innovative products to market.
You'll work closely with our customers and internal teams, gaining exposure to some of the biggest retailers in the UK and internationally.
This role would suit someone who is naturally curious, commercially aware, highly organised and genuinely passionate about products and what makes them successful with consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Product & Trend Support
- Monitor beauty, personal care and wellness trends across Tik Tok, Instagram, retail and competitor brands.
- Identify emerging product opportunities, ingredients, packaging formats and consumer trends.
- Support the development of new product concepts and innovation ideas for customers.
- Create trend presentations and customer-facing inspiration decks.
- Maintain awareness of competitor launches and market activity.
- New Product Development Support
- Support the day-to-day management of customer briefs and NPD projects.
- Coordinate samples, submissions, approvals and project timelines.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure projects progress smoothly.
- Track key actions and follow up on outstanding tasks.
- Assist in bringing new products from concept through to launch.
- Account & Customer Support
- Support the Business Development Manager with customer accounts and day-to-day enquiries.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare meeting agendas, presentations and follow-up actions.
- Support customer meetings and retailer visits.
- Ensure customer requests are handled efficiently and professionally.
- Commercial & Administrative Support
- Prepare quotations, pricing requests and customer documentation.
- Maintain customer records, product information and account files.
- Support the preparation of sales reports and business updates.
- Assist with product submissions and retailer systems.
- Provide general commercial and administrative support to the Business Development team.
