About Us
Pots & Co is a fast-growing premium chilled desserts company on a mission to shake up the UK desserts aisle with indulgent, high-quality creations. As an SME with big ambitions, we pride ourselves on craft, creativity, and delivering desserts that feel special every time.

The Role
As Junior Brand Manager, you’ll own and drive the brand’s presence across all consumer touchpoints — from packaging and comms to digital and in-store. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role that blends strategy and execution. You’ll work closely with sales, NPD, and external partners to build a brand that consumers love and retailers want more of. You will report into the Part Time Head of Marketing and the CEO. In addition, you will manage your own marketing budget in conjunction with the senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy & Planning: Help define and execute the brand strategy, positioning, and tone of voice. Join annual brand planning, identifying priorities across product, channel, and consumer.
  • NPD & Innovation Support: Collaborate with the NPD team to shape new product launches — from concept to packaging. Support consumer and competitor research to guide flavour, format, and packaging decisions. Manage critical paths and go-to-market plans for new launches and events including trade shows and in-store events.
  • Marketing Campaigns & Activation: Plan and deliver brand campaigns (seasonal, influencer, PR, social). Oversee packaging design, ensuring consistent brand identity across SKUs. Develop content and assets for social media, e-commerce, and retailer platforms. Support in-store activations, such as POS, sampling, or retailer promotions. Manage customer enquiries and complaints on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Digital & Social: Support Head of Marketing in digital strategies including influencer briefing, social content and reporting on key metrics. Where required, monitor organic social and provide insights.
  • Trade & Retailer Support: Deliver all assets for retailer media (e.g. Ocado banners/in-store signage). Work closely with sales team to plan and deliver in-store activations for the year.
  • Brand Performance & Insight: Track and report on brand performance using data sources such as EPOS, Kantar, Nielsen, and social media metrics. Monitor and report on competitors, trends, and consumer behaviour to keep the brand ahead of the curve.

About You

Essential:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in brand or marketing roles, ideally in FMCG or food/drink.
  • Strong understanding of the UK grocery and/or foodservice landscape.
  • Experience with paid digital marketing and creative assets to support the Head of Marketing.
  • Solid knowledge of analytics and data-driven thinking.
  • Ability to produce reports from Nielsen and EPOS data for regular leadership meetings.
  • Confident writer and communicator with good creative judgement.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environment: hands-on, proactive, and adaptable.
  • Understanding of all digital marketing channels including organic social, Search Paid, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Email Marketing, Influencers.

Desirable:

  • Experience with chilled or short shelf-life products.
  • Experience in online and offline PR.
  • Passion for food and a keen eye for trends in the dessert/snacking category.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a growing, ambitious food brand with a loyal customer base.
